Felucca with Family.
We have Mrs Ts family here at the moment, enjoying a break from the near zero temperatures in the UK. They have been on the normal tourist route, Sakkara, Darshur, Giza pyramids, duty free shop (to keep our wine stocks up!) Khan al Khalili, Ahzar park. Thursday evening I got back from work early (having got in from Damascus late the night before) and we went down to Maadi and hired a Felucca and went out on the Nile. Unfortunately there was very little in the way on breeze so we just anchored and bobbed up and down in the rivers flow watching the sun go down. Afterwards we went to our favorite Asian next the Nile and had a chinese - you don't get any more Egyptian than that!
