Tina, it took a week but there had to be a winner in the bacterial russian roulette that is eating out in North Africa. Yes, despite the best efforts of all the boys in the family scoffing thier way through Japanese, Lebanese, burgers, room service, local ice cream etc etc Tina came up "trumps" (if you pardon the pun) in what has turned out to be a multiple sprint finish in our family competition. So much for any sympathy. Although she who laughs last........
Tommorrow is the weekend, Friday, and we plan to be visiting Sakkara and Darshure, south of Cairo near Memphis - cannot wait to hear that original delta blues - Muddy Tutenkhmun or Howling Imhotep anyone... more later, early start.
